Powerwashing or pressure washing is the process of cleaning a surface before painting or staining with high pressure spray and sometimes chemical to remove old paint and mildew. When we powerwash, the pressure used on our 3000psi powerwashing machine is anywhere between 1000 and 1300 psi. We focus on using more chemical rather than just drenching the house with tons of water. Depending on the amount and degree of mildew, we'll treat the house with a 50/50 to 70/30 mix of chemicals to ensure that all the mildew is completely treated and destroyed prior to any painting that is to take place. If painting is not needed this ensures the house is thoroughly cleaned and all mildew thoroughly removed. In most cases if you have black gutters, we can make them look almost brand new as well.
